I was on the Harley web site, they are now offering downloadable instruction sheets for many of their items.

Default steering head clunck info
Based upon the discussions on "the steering head clunck" I have added the instruction sheet for p/n 45740-07 "STEERING HEAD WASHER KIT" to the database.

This kit contains the new hardened washer (see attachment figure 2) p/n 45727-08 and is used at:

All 2006-2007 Dyna and 2008 and earlier FXDWG Models
All 2008 and earlier FX Softails (except FX Springer Models)

Torq specs are in the instruction sheet.
