Default Dyna Floorboard Kit... 50601-01

Has anyone installed this kit on a 09 FXD? I understand the kit is no longer available, but are all of the parts available from the stealer? How much did all of the parts cost? How hard of an install is it? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers,
Ric

It will bolt on for the most part. Where you will run into problems is mounting the shifter support. One member that has done this mod fabbed a bracket to make it work but I can't remember who it was. Grab a burger and a beer then search Dyna floorboard and prepare to do a lot of reading.

There is always the mini board option....no need to change up mounting hardware

V-Twin Manufacturing must have at one time sold a floorboard kit. I found this pdf file of a V-Twin catalog:

http://www.zoom4parts.com/Docs/236.pdf

Maybe this part can still be purchased VT No. 27-0920, but I am having difficulty finding it.

These work OK with your mid controls? I'm considering a set of Kury mini-boards.

Search ebay. I've seen them there from time to time. Also, there is a guy online who sells used dyna another harley parts. Hes got a lot of FXDP footboard parts. Maybe you could piece together a set.
