Hi everyone,
Thinking of converting my front turn indicators (International Model Fatbob) to operate as running lights as well as indicators. The international model only has a two wire front indicator which operate only as turn indicators. The US domestic model has three wire front blinkers allowing for a dual function. I would be very much obliged if someone could look in their parts book for a part number for the US domestic front blinkers (has to be the three wire blinkers).
Thanks,
Colin.

I'll check my 2003 parts manual for you when I get home later this afternoon and let you know the p/n.
The least expensive conversion would be to change the sockets in your present housings as the housings should be the same on both the international and US models.
Part numbers are listed for the entire assembly and the socket in the diagram above.

p/n do match with the 2003 parts manual.
I aggree with Airborne350G: check Ebay for a set of take off front turn signal indicators. Last October I won an auction for a complete (next to new) set for 50 US$.
As to the colors of the wires:
Black is ground
Brown is right turn
Violet is left turn
Blue (only Domestic H-D) is driving lights
Lead the blue wires comming out of your new set into the headlight bucket and splice them to the Orange/White wire of the position light (international H-D only)
