2002 Wide Glide not running
My 2002 Wide Glide stalls out after running up to temp, I replaced the coil tonight as it seemed like it was not getting fire, the air cleaner needs replacing I will do that tomorrow. The issue started last weekend with some backfire at startup and later while running down the highway at 75 mph. I pulled off and it started stalling out bad, checked the plugs they are fine, getting gas ( pulled the breather and see gas squirting when I turn the throttle). This morning on the way to work same story, had to push it back home about a mile
(whew)! I do overfill my oil about a 1/2 quart to suppress valve chatter, the bike has 33k on it, anyone with an idea on where I go from here?

If it stumbling after getting to temp the main circuit breaker could be over heating and tripping off, have you tried restarting it after it cools down for a few minutes? The circuit brkr is behind the fuse panel behind the electrical cover. Another possibility would be the crank position sensor by the oil filter, follow the wire down to the plug and try cleaning the plug or the sensor may have konked out. That sensor sends impulse signals to the ignition to fire the plugs. A fix for some of the the chatter is "B" part number lifters, the oil is overfilled and making bubbles which in turn get into the oil system and bubbles don't lube..
