Looks to me like you could grind the guides inside the bracket down and install the bracket upside down so it sits flush with the top mount. Would look cleaner for those with tall risers.

us66harley - I like how your lower bracket looks. Do you know if the bracket you used (part #67084-96) will fit an 07 FXD speedo? Also, could you put photos back on of your assembly and parts? The ones on before are not there any more. Thanks a lot!

If the top is the 3-1/2 speedometer it will fit. I would assume so because the bracket is a '96 part number. Pictures should be back.
