Default Idle speed??

Have 01 FXD. Bought it used and believe it to be fully stock (engine, carb, exhaust). After 5 to 10 minutes warmup the idle settles down to about 1000 rpm. The longer I ride (another 10 minutes or so) the faster the idle becomes up to about 1300 rpm, then levels off around there +- 500 rpm. Asking some of the guys at work that ride, but not Harley's, I get answers from the system is too lean to a vacuum leak. I don't expect to find a "silver bullet" but where should I start looking? I have changed the handle bars to mini apes, kept the same throttle, idle cable but re-adjusted. I really do not recall when this started, I notice it more now, with the warmer weather.

Default RE: Idle speed??

This maybe a way to simple answer but depending on your weather after 5-10 minutes the bike may not be fully warmed up. Once the bike is fuly warmed adjust you idel down to 1000 RPMs from 1300. Then when starting cold adjust the choke in increaments untill fully warmed up and then choke fully in.
