I recieved the Radianz led`s from Badland`s and as promised it fixed the problem and WOW what a difference!
on the left is the drag spec. made in china light
on the right is the radianz made in america light
the good lights were 98 dollars for all four and 108 for the module
i was a cheap *** and tried the the cheap way out and now it cost me alot more but live and learn they say!!!!!
the junk lights were about 17 bucks each and i think the harley run/brake module was about 50 dollars, which worked fine with regular bulbs.
if your gunna go l.e.d do yourself a favor and talk to BADLANDS first
it is well worth the extra cash and the difference is night & day
if you buy the badlands module it has a built in load eq and everything works as usual
Thats a big difference, I am going to have to get me some when I get rid of my taillight. Have some of the cheap ones from Autozone now in the back and some kury ones in the front and they arent very bright.
They are just extra now since still have my taillight but need something you can see better for when I shave the taillight.
I too, learned the hard way about LED lights and bought from here with 110% satisfaction. Well worth the money and you DO get what you pay for with them...
It comes down to "you get what you pay for" I feel with the LED's lights.
Offtopic: I paid ~ $250 for an integrated tailight on my Ducati - and it was WELL WORTH IT! Besides being made in USA...it has 490 LED's, blinks 5 times when you initially hit the brake, but will not continue to do that if if you're in stop and go traffic. Yellow turn signals are good, tougher to see if bright sunlight, but I expected that.
bberck;-------where can i get the chrome piece above your tail light looks as though it fits over the holes were the old plate bracket bolts were in the fender
