HELP, Wont start!
Hey everyone,
Just washed my bike, went to fire it up and it wont start. Get a weird noise, almost like the battery is fried, however lights/alarm/fuel pump still work fine. Video is coming soon, just loading it on you tube.
First actual run problem I've had with it, and not sure what to do.

thats what I thought too, but I just metered it and I got 11.6/11.7, and everything is tight. hmmm

11.7 is low? oh, figured that would be enough. either way, I've got it hooked up to the charger now, hopefully we'll get a result.

Battery voltage should be higher than that. I agree with Super; sounds like loose cable or low battery firing the relay but not enough Oomph to drive the starter.

scratch that, I just read through the service book, didnt realize 11.7 was so damn low. Thanks guys!

In case you're wondering, that chattering sound is your starter solenoid bouncing back and forth because theres not enough voltage in the battery to keep it locked up in one position.
