Default Custom Saddle Bag Supports
Hi all, I have a 2008 Super Glide Custom that I really don't want to put anymore money into. I am looking for saddle bag supports that will work with detachable backrest without relocating the rear directionals. Has anyone made there own supports? I saw something at a local run and it looked like simple angle iron with an extension going down that was held in place by the forward bolt and gravity. Any thoughts?

check out ghost brackets. Do a google search and they will come up. I'm thinking about some for my fatbob

i got mine for cheap man, they where well worth it! ghost brackets are nice

Unless mebbe they work with the quick-detach hardware turn signal extensions (you know, the ones that basically turn the turn signals into studs).

Check this thread for info on the combination backrest/saddlebag:

"part number/where to buy sissy bar side plate for SB"


and this one on the easy brackets saddlebag support:

"show me your easy brackets, etc."
