part number/where to buy sissy bar side plate for SB
Not sure I can do this, but figured this is the place to ask. I have a 2008 Street Bob with Easy Brackets for my detachable saddelbags. I have a C&C Solo seat. I want to get an old school "attitude stick" (to help with strappling luggage on my rack) - (plus they look cool).
What side plate would I need? Will it even work with the Easy Brakcets? Anyone done this? I don't want to go ordering something that won't work.
you can go with harleys detachble or rigid side plates and they will work with your easybrackets... i'm pretty sure the attitude stick will bolt right up to both those sideplates, but you'd have to verify to be certain.
edit: wanted to add that if you go with the detachable sideplates your sissy bar mounting points are different sizes (front is narrower than the rear). so your gonna have to tweak the easybracket thats attached to your saddlebags so they line up and slide on easier! i had to do this with my easy brackets and detachble sideplates, but got rid of the detachbles and had to re-tweak the brackets to fit. im gonna go with a haulen *** backrest when i get the mulah!
