I just bought the extended shift lever (1 3/4" longer than stock) from Dennis Kirk so my new boots easily fit under it. Anybody tried one of these on the mid controls??

 

I just put it on.........boots fit fine.....10 minute job.

 

I bought the extended lever to use with my forwards. When I adjusted it as low as I wanted it would hit my forward control bracket before it would go into first. I ended up grinding a notch in the bracket so the lever would clear then I sent the brackets out to get chromed. Lucky it was winter here so the down time wasn't too bad. It is a lot more comfortable with the extended lever.
