Default handle bar question.

I just installed my new bars on my 2008 superglide and now when I press the front brake and the back brake the right signle light comes on, is it possible that I crossed up a wire? Should I pull the switch connectors from under the tank again? Any ideas?

Get a 12v test light and check your juice before guessing.

Safe bet you got a couple wires in the wrong hole. Better to pull the terminals out and try again....

Do you have the electrical service manual?

Okay... did you wire in some extensions in your wires, or just stock wires?

As long as the extensions are in the middle, you should have the same stock wire going in and the same stock wire coming out right?

From my electrical service manual: (08)
Turnsignals: (both sides)
black = pin 1
brown = pin 2
blue = pin 3

Right side controls:
orange/white = pin 1
red/yellow = pin 2
green/yellow = pin 3
white/black = pin 4
white/brown= pin 5
red/black = pin 6

left side controls:
orange/white = pin 1
yellow = pin 2
blue = pin 3
white = pin 4
white/violet = pin 5
yellow/black = pin 6
black/red = pin 7
black = pin 8

Just double check your terminal/plugs first. When I wired in my extensions, I made sure that the extension wires were almost if not completely external to the bars. I left the stock black plastic covering over the wires up to that point.
