6'7'' and I'm up to 275lbs now and I ride a Street Bob with 3" forwards. Plenty of room for me and I don't really care what I look like while riding it.
Truth spoken here. I would imagine all Dynas with forwards will offer the same leg room. I see here that nathanw has some rather tall apes, re-affirming my point. Great looking Bob, BTW !!!
Wide Glide or the Fatbob with forward controls....either should work. I personally like the fatbob better (except for the headlight) but that's just personal preference talking....
I'm 6'4 270 and ride a street bob with 3" extended forwards, bare bones seat, and 2" riser extensions - it couldn't fit me any better. Most that sit on it probably wouldn't even be able to ride it if they had to... but maybe i ride with a bunch of munchkins, who knows.
And what would a guy consider a bigger harley to be anyways? They are all about the same size to begin with - give or take an inch or so of seat height and depending upon mids or forwards. After that about the only thing that can be changed is seat and bar rise & pullback. Folks think baggers are "big" thats a joke, I've ridden street glides and felt like the bars were in my lap due to how it was setup from the moco.

just my thoughts on the subject...
They are definately not really bigger. You are more stretched out on your dyna than you would be on any touring model. I think the confusion about size is really the weight factor between two.
I met a guy a few weeks back 6'3-230 ( or 40 dunno) who was riding a sportster. He seemed happy loved his ride and didn't seem to care what others were thinking!
As has been noted before, the Touring models are slightly longer by an inch or two--but, having ridden them, the Dyna with forward controls (or extended +2" or +3") are far more comfortable for a tall guy in my opinion. I'm 6' 4" and 205, and the Dyna with forwards gives you more leg room than any other Harley.
