Default front sag

How much sag is normal in the front forks. I feel like they are too soft. I am 200lbs and they sag about 1.5" - 2". Would some progressives and heavier old help with this?

You might want to pose this question to Howard at Motorcycle Metal (FastHarley) He's the ultimate guru when it comes to suspension

I believe there is about 5" of travel in your front forks. Total sag should be about 1.5" to 1.75" or so for normal street riding. The correct way to measure your sag involves unweighing the suspension and finding out how much the weight of the bike alone compresses the suspension. Add that to the length you get when seated on the bike in a normal riding position.

a good rule of thumb is 25% of total travel for street riding

according to Ohlin and works performance street riding is at about 1/3 and for racing/agressive street you want to be at about 25%. If you are bottoming out too much at 1/3 your shock is too soft for your weight.
