Sweet! That sounds like a nice build. Congrat'S bro. Keep me posted when you get it tuned. I can't wait to see what it does.

Easy,

Most of those links are for a 88" punched out to a 95". Yes, a 95" will make those numbers all day long. A 96" won't. It's the trans gear ratio or something that's holding up the power. It could even be the longer stroke. But, from what I've seen on a regular basis, a modded 96" won't make power as easily as a modded 88".

As to the Woods dyno, what else was done? Looking at the rest of the 96" dyno runs, if you average all the numbers, you're at 104TQ/93HP. I think those numbers are more realistic numbers.

If making that kind of power was as easy as just a cam change, then no one would go big bore.

I'm not trying to knock, I'm just saying that if you build it per your original specs, you may be disappointed. Maybe I'm wrong.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out!

The Woods Dyno was a response to a 96ci "never" hitting those numbers. It can be done but when going for big numbers it should start with the crank.
