Remember the WG didn't go to 49mm forks til '06 so that may alter the width a bit. I got my trees raw from Cass County Choppers and polished them, but IIRC they offer them chromed and polished too (for added $$ of course but still a good buy)
I did a little checking and made a few calls. The rims are the same width from 00' up and the brake rotor bolts have the same pattern. The only thing that changed was the bearings and possibly the I.D. of the hub, which can be taken care of by boring it out. I am going to pick it up tomorrow. I could not pass it up. The guy bought the bike in 05' and replaced the wheels with mags with only 400 miles on the bike. He wants $200.00 for it.
BTW: I am going to go with a 3 degree polihed tree from these guys http://www.casscountytrikes.com/gpage1.html
unless I can find a nice chromed set that doesn't break the bank. I realize I will have to fab spacers or just buy a set for a 10' model WG.

Does anyone know where to get a 25mm front axle for a wideglide? Since HD only made the wideglide in 2010 with the 25mm axle I am thinking it is only available from HD.
Just got off of the phone with the local Stealership and they happen to have an axle in stock for $73.39 and it is showing part number 41547-07A which tells me that it is an 07' part number. He did not know if it was 25mm or 1" though.

These guys got it for 47.00 plus shipping. I ordered my 06 front end from them.
Just plug in your part number. - George
Yeah, I just looked it and the spacers up at Zanotti's. I can get all of it from them for $69.00 shipped. I also noticed that the axle number is the same as a 2008 up FXDF. Hell, Zanotti is cheaper than V-Twin. V-Twin wants $59.00 for the axle.
