does anyone have a sissy bar on a bob. id like to see some pics if possable. i think i want the detachable one but i would like to see how it looks before i order from a mag or a stealer. any help?
I have the quick detach system and think it works really well. It definitely looks better without it so definitely get it detachable!!
You have two options for the turn signals. One is $25.00 and just moves them to the outside of the quick detach docking piece.
The other, which I did, is $75.00. It moves the signals beside the plate. I still had to buy my own bolts for the rearmost docking hardware as none of the hrdware kits included them! What did I expect for 75 bucks right?![:@]
I would do the cheaper kit, but since my brother went that route, I did the $75.00 kit just so the bikes wouldn't be as similar.
Disregard the tips on the exhaust...I have cut them into angles and they look much better!
I have the Harley Reach seat that's in the pic for sale if you need a 2 seater. I am running a Lowrider seat on it now.

Bike looks great man. What size is the sissy bar? Medium, tall? I usually don't like such a tall sissy bar, but it works well on your bike.
I Have the Medium low backrest. I didn't want a real tall or real short one, but something that would hold my 11 year old daughter comfortably. Also, I will be getting a barrel bag or T-bag so it needs to be big enough for that.
Part #52754-04 $79.95 Medium Low Medallion Style Upright
Part #52866-06 $129.95 Detachable sideplates
Part #53961-06 $24.95 Docking Hardware
Part #52652-04 $51.95 Medium Low Backrest pad - Smooth Style
Part #53968-06 $34.95 Turn Signal Relocation Kit (The Cheaper one)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
$321.75 plus Tax
The relocation kit was more than I thought...mine was $75.00 and inluded a different license plate bracket and a hollow bar that the turn signals threaded onto. The $35 relocation kit gives you hollow bolts that secure the docking points and allows your turn signal wires to pass through. You have to cut your wires, feed them through and then splice them back together.
If you add the passenger pegs, the peg mounts, bolts, etc. it really adds up to alot of money just to ride a passenger!
Interesting...I thought that was taller than the medium low. I also have the medium low for two up riding. I put a mini on for solo (for looks)...my wife wouldn't go for anything lower than the medium low. And the detachable sideplates are great. Makes the swap so easy.
Its hard to believe that we both have the same sissybar uprights. That kinda puts in perspective just how thick my H-D Tallboy seat is. I was thinking of getting the wife one thats a lil taller but she said this one is fine so I might get one of the HD bucket seat backrest for her on the long rides. Ive also got the same backrest pad, but mine is the rigid mount version.
I have the RIGID sideplates and the SHORT chrome sissy bar. I have no intention of ever riding two-up, but needed something to attach a bag and/or bungee to. The short bar is just slightly taller than the mini, with the pad also being just a tad larger. I'm satisfied with it. SORRY, but I don't have pics to show.
