Default Dash Light\Indicator Light Question

I got a good deal on a Sportster 1200c riser\speedo housing. I plan to put it on my 2006 Dyna FXDI. It looks like it will relocate my speedo nicely and allow me to install broomstick bars without replacing all the cables. One question....the indicator light bar for the Sportster setup is considerably smaller than the Dyna's. I am thinking I will have to get a sportster light bar and splice it into mine. Is anyone familiar with this? I use my bike as a daily driver and would like to have all the parts necessary before I take it apart for the swap.

cool from the looks of in the 2010 HD Parts Catalog it shows the 95-later xl and 95-04 fxd has the same part number for the speedo chrome bracket kit. They must have changed the indicator spacing cause my 06 lights are spaced out further.

2006 1200c top clamp housing HD part number 68792-96 $6.50. I plan on splicing a harness off the sub harness for the indicator lights in case I want to switch back to to "wider" spacing.
