im very aware of the reason insurance companies totall bikes,, and this bike came close to a totall loss ,,, but no,,, bike is stripped and frame is good !! if i were to buy new HD original parts,, id be better off to use it as parts,,, but if i take my time and shop right,,, i have the whole winter to look about and find my needed parts,, and fix my baby !
NOTE: There is one caveat, I haven't removed the parts yet. I'm currently waiting on replacements, some of which are painted parts. So if your patient, we can finalize whatever offer into a deal once they're off by December.
that sounds great to me,,, by any chance could you give me a price so that i can purchase your available parts !! if you could pls call me at 207-620-0227 chris
You are gonna need a fender the same width as your current one(that Ness 7.5" wont cut it as yours is like 9 1/4 or something like that). Or you can cut and widen a steel fender. Fiberglass??? Awful Metric to me.
I know the thread is old, but I have been looking at the Bench Mark Stretched fender by Klockwerks for some time now. Here are some links to them for those of you that are interested.
