When I leave for work it is in the 30's. My carb'd '99 with an open Big Sucker just kicks and bucks even with the chock pulled.
Once it finally warms it runs like a scared rabbit.

 

Had the 02 carb bike out today with the OL on the back for about 125 miles in the cool fall air (54*), such a joy to ride in the cool air. Found a nice curvy road with hills, some would scrap parts in the turns, power up, set up, hold the apex then get ready for the for the next turn. Very good ride.
