Thanks a lot guys. Im trying to figure out where to go next. I would really love to get a wide tire kit, 250 or more. Im trying to convince a local custom shop to get involved in the job and get a real price for me. also looking for a new reach seat but cannot find any except for hd brand. i need to be closer to the forward controls.. all in a matter of time i guess. Yea agreed it sucks that they discontinued the wide glide. looks like this will be in my garage forever.
Great looking bike! Regarding the reach seat, LePera makes some good looking "reach" type seats on some of their models; they denote them with "Up Front". I had a similar problem but solved it by getting the LePera Daytona seat (does not move you forward, but about an inch down; also much more skinny on the sides) and Kuryakyn stirrups (see my gallery). No more slipping of my feet off the forward controls at highway speeds. I am sure that many other brands make "reach" type seats or can modify your existing seat to move you forward.
I am very happy to say i installed mini floorboards on the scoot this weekend and im extremely happy with the results. i never knew i could feel so comfortable on my bike. They also dont take away from the look but add so much for the rider... highly recommended for the shorter riders also are adjustable and could be for taller riders..also am planning on the le pera bare bones up front solo seat. hope its as good as the reviews. Im located in monmouth county. close to Sandy Hook.

You know the drill...pics. I'd actually really like to see what they look like on the bike.
