My wife has a couple medical issues that prevented her from riding with me on our 04 custom sporty even after some heavy motor mods and other comfort upgrades she still could only go 30 miles at a time before we HAD to stop so i decided to look for a new bike and found my 07 WG.
I thought i would like a soft tail custom but after riding a couple i didn't like the "power" they had.
Tried a WG as i love the look and was hooked with the power and handling.
This bike handles as well as if not a little better than my sporty and is more comfortable even for me to ride.
Only mods so far are a new seat and backrest now she can go 100 miles before we need to stop.
Her only complaint is I didn't buy this one first.
Hello, Fairly new to the forums and Harley's as far as that goes. I will be getting my 2012 wide glide in April, they still have to build it.(sorry no pics) I am looking forward to riding it just from all your comments about it. I also look forward to spending lots of money on it. lol Already have some goodies purchased but I will wait till I have the bike to show off.
