165 TQ?!?! WTF?!!? That's insane! I'd be all over that man! I bet that's one hell of a ride.. sheesh.. but if I were you, I would have DEFINITELY gotten a Triumph Thruxton! Such a sick bike.. I reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally want to get one bad.
LOL..you're a trip Adrian. I'd hate to see what your garage would look like if you ever hit the lottery. Actually, I'd love to see it. LOL I'm with you on the Thruxton....it's a sweet bike.
Gongrats on the new scoot! Triumph is a good brand. Far too few dealers in the states to seriously consider....Thunderbird 1600 would be a sweet cruiser.
Let us know from time to time hows things are going.
Wow, sorry your experience was not good. The MoCo does need to start paying attention to it's customers as there are too many issues showing up with these bikes IMO. But, stop by and say hello every now and then. KB

I must be lucky. There are 5 Harley dealers, 1 Triumph dealer, 3 Honda dealers, 2 Yamaha dealers, one Suzuki dealer and one BMW dealer within 30 minutes of my house. So, I have many choices.
Having owned two Triumphs over the last couple years, GREAT bikes, but certainly not worry free. I can honestly say my Triumphs were no more "worry free" then my Harley is. And the parts (maybe just in the US) were certainly not any cheaper. I would suggest a Honda, my friend's Honda hasn't had a single problem since he bought it 4 years ago, then again he rarely wants to ride it so who knows

LMAO! Man, I'd hate to see what my garage would look like too. I don't think I could control myself if I won that kind of money. Perhaps that IS the reason why I haven't won the lottery... LOL. I think I'd own a different bike from each country. haha
Congrats on the new Triumph! My buddy's brother is a parts manager for the local Triumph dealer around me and gets to ride some of the demo bikes. Nothing but praise from him on the power they make!
