Default Well, it's goodbye from me..........

After having my Dyna for two years I have moved on and just wanted to say 'so long' to everybody on this forum.

This place has been a mine of information and help during this time and I probably wouldn't have kept my bike for as long as I did without this forum.

To the reasons for the change. I had been disappointed in the build quality of the bike for some time (particularly bearing in mind the prices we pay over here in UK) fastners, suspension brakes etc but when the oil pump failed (because it hadn't been installed properly at the factory) and totally destroyed the motor at only 4k miles that did it for me. The dealer tried to get a new motor under warranty but HD UK would only agree to a rebuild (which ended up costing more than a new motor woulda).

I was looking to buy a Road King or Street Glide but my experience totally put me off ever investing in the brand again.

Anywayhave bought a Triumph which makes me feel patriotic and hopefully will prove to be a more reliable mode of transport (inc some pics)

Anyway sorry for the rant just wanted to say thanks and keep the shiny side up

Having owned two Triumphs over the last couple years, GREAT bikes, but certainly not worry free. I can honestly say my Triumphs were no more "worry free" then my Harley is. And the parts (maybe just in the US) were certainly not any cheaper. I would suggest a Honda, my friend's Honda hasn't had a single problem since he bought it 4 years ago, then again he rarely wants to ride it so who knows

Take care and ride safe,

Greg
