HA! Went home all set to tell hubby I was totally bummed and pissed, only to find he had put them on! All he had to do was have me sit on the bike so he could adjust the clutch lever position. I took it for a quick spin before it started to rain to make sure it all felt good. I am going to LOVE these. I will say the brake lever seems a bit low compared to the board, but I was fine with it, as well as with shifting. It will just take a few rides to get used to the different feel.
I have no clue as to why they say they won't work on mid-controls but they do. So the salesman is back in my good graces.
Now maybe for someone who has a big ol' foot, they may not be ideal, but I have a pretty petite foot and I can tell these are going to do for me just what I wanted, a much more comfortable riding position. (And I still have my highway pegs for stretching out on longer trips) YAAAAYY!!!!

Because they allow the bike to be leaned further than the published design specification before the tip of the peg contacts the road surface. Its a safety and legal CYA statement.
Not a bad idea! But for ME, the footboards ended up working. Hey Mirror, have you tried anything yet?. Still need to get pics. It's raining (again) so not sure it will be today. Tomorrow I am hoping to get in a ride and really see how I like them!

Here's a couple views of the mini footboards on my 2008 Street Bob. I do feel they are more comfortable for me than the pegs. I have a small foot and so I can actually move my foot a bit forward or a bit back as desired.
