Default Footboard?
Im getting ready to install the HD forward control kit on my 12 fxdc. I already have the kit and got a really good deal on it here in the forum but the more i look the more i like the looks of the HD footboard kit. Is there anyway i could incorporate footboards with my existing forward control kit??

Look into the HD mini floorboards at your dealership. The attach just like a footpeg, they are comfy, they aren't so huge looking

The front mount for the footboards are totally different than the mount for your fowards.

So the mini floor boards are bolt on? Basically just replacing my old pegs with no othr mods?

Mini footboards are no substitute for full size boards. Decide what you want before you start, if it is full footboards than sell the forward controls as a full kit.

I havent seen enough of the mini boards to make a decision. All i do know is that i love the look of the HD kit. If anyone does have pics of the mini setup that would be great...

I agree. The full boards give a lot more move around room also. I love mine.

Here's a pic of the mini footboard kit, they are comfortable but not much room to move your feet, so I just bought the footboard kit to give those a try
