What has changed: Fat bob 08 -> 10
A little over one month ago I had an accident with my bike where both my beloved bike and myself took a rather serious beating. Thankfully nothing to bad but four serious frectures in my left knee and foot and some necrosis on the foot (basically the skin died on some parts of my foot, it sucks to be able to see your bones and muscles move when you wiggle your toes).
I am healing now and will be 100% or at least close to it restored, at least I will be able to walk again before christmas.
The bike was damaged pretty badly but nothing that can not be repaired, in dollars the repairs was estimated to come close to 15000$ (the bike costs 25 000$ USD with 25% sales tax here in sweden) due so several expensive parts that was damaged.
The good news was since my bike was so new and the repairs so extensive I will get a brand new one! Apparently if you bike is newer then 2 years and has 2 or fewer owners the insurance company has a deal with Harley here in Sweden that you get a new bike if the repairs cost more then 50% of the bikes value. A 2010 Fat Bob has already been ordered for me, including all the additions I had made. The old one will most probably be repaired and sold by Harley since the frame and engine was not damaged beyond cosmetic damages. Since I had rode it 12 000 miles I do not compain about getting a new one.
Well, before I tire you all, what are the changes that Harley made on the Fat bob on the 09 and 10-models? Since my 08 fat Bob was the bike of my dreams I have not kept up with the new stuff.
I know of these changes:
09
- Improved rear suspension
- Lowered front fender
10
- Some improvements to the digital display on the tank. (fuel milage=)
- Helix cut fith gear
What else is new?

I noticed that I forgot the helix cut fith gear, but that is a general -10 change of course.
