Any experience upsizing tires/wheels on SuperGlides?
I have a 2005 and would like to beef up at least the front tire, maybe both. Lots of streetcar tracks and parallel cracks in the road here in Toronto and my bike likes to settle in, no matter how careful I am in crossing them. Running stock Dunlop rubber at the moment. I know there's lots of tire related posts to be read (cuz I've read 'em) but would like to know if anyone has specific SuperGlide experience with the upsizing issue. Thanks.

got you same bike... even down to the color a bit ago... I have found that switching to Metzelers was the cat's meow... Way better than the dunlops... Avons are supposed to be great too. Avon makes a 160/80 for the rear(stock 150) and the front should be worlds better at the same width. I went to a narrower mh90 21(150 metz. rear) when I changed my wheels and the better tire was worlds above the wider dunlop that came stock.
