Scotchbrite AC Cover
Finally found an AC cover on e-bay so I didn't have to scotchbrite the chrome cover that I already had installed on the bike. Took the Scotchbrite pad to the new cover and I was pretty happy with the results.

hd_sob - Yes, it is the HD Stripper seat. I ordered it from Zanotti's HD and saved about $70(including shipping) from what I could get it from the local dealer.

but a stupid question ...from outside the US.....what the hell is scotchbrite??.....i did a search and find bathroom floor cleaning pads...!!!??..huhh??
does this just lightly sand the surface to dull the chrome or something??. but looks like it leaves a really good finish. but surely if it sands it would leave tiny scratches...??...

scotchbrite is a 3M brand name that covers everything from bathroom sponges to heavy duty finishing pads and discs. He most likely used a "sanding" pad which puts tiny scatches in the finish and gives it a matte look.
