Thanks, makes me fell better about my choice. Yours look great. I like the contrast between the black and chrome. Good idea with the brake pad pins. Its the little things like that, that set it off.
Just a lil info: Changing the brake pins was fairly simple,... just cahnge one pin at a time and it will go quickly. Now about the chrome switch caps,..... the left side wasnt bad at all,.... also read the instructions on how to remove the old ones and how to snap on the new ones and it wont be a problem at all,... now on the right side,... it was more of a pain in the butt since you have to remove your throttle cables, just take your time and you wont have a problem though. I also bought the chrome housing screw set as well. I like it cause its a lil diferent,.... you either see them in the stock all black or in all chrome and a few with chrome housings and black switches but not as many with the black housing with the chrome switches. I just added a new headlight to mine as well. I actually like yours a lil better but mine was only around $60.00. Now I just need to do something with my speedo bracket,...I'm thinking of getting a chrome one that comes stock on a Superglige Custom.

Looks good. Good idea with the screws. Never thought of that. Thanks for the tips.

It was pretty much a direct replacement. I took the wires out of the oem connector and pulled them out of the old light. Pushed the wire into the new light and reconnected the oem connector and pluged it into the new light. New headlight came with a new mounting block. It has 2 allen screws which mount from both sides so it eliminates the bolt and nut. Cleans it up a little more. I also got a new stainless bolt which screws into the bottom of the mounting block. OEM bolt was just a tad to long. Real anxious to get the new 16s on though. Should have everything I need in a couple of weeks.
Thank you. Its a never ending process isn't it. The only bad thing about this forum is that everyone shares pics and then it gives you even more ideas on what to do with your bike. Are they ever finished? Mine will probably never be finished. I am always seeing something on the forum and then want to add or change something on my bike. I am enjoying it though. This is my first bike. Love everything about the lifestyle.
