Default Which map from SERT?

I have now received all my parts to do the upgrade on my 06 WG, I have the SE A/C (PN 29773-02B) and the slip on mufflers (PN 80293-99A) along with the SERT (PN 32107-1E) and was sitting down trying to figure out which canned map to use as a base. I though since my SERT was fairly recently manufactured it would have the part numbers that I have listed so I could start with the right map. I believe that I have the 8 degree injectors not sure though, it is in for the 1K service at the moment. Looking to you folks to give me an ideas where to start. I am able to twist my own wrenches and have enough computer savy to hook things up so not a problem there. Just need to get a baseline on which map to start with and then maybe do some tuning.

thank

If you have the 25deg injectors I have a couple of maps I will send ya to try out. Just remember each Harley tends to be as individual as each person is, but they will give you a good start. I also have some maps that JamieWG on here sent me and they are for 8 degree injectors. You will learn that while one of the maps may be great for me it might make you just a tad lean or a tad rich,... but they will all get you alot closer into the ballpark. And they all are better than the factory H-D downloads. Well just let me know or even drop JamieWg a note and he's very helpful as well.

JMbear 328,

Thanks for the offer, what is the best way to get the downloads from you? I understand what you mean about each bike having its own "personality". I need to check the injectors though. I am assuming I probably have the 8 degree ones since the bike was built back in Jan 06.

if you PM me with your email address I can just email the maps to you and you can download them to a folder and then use your sert program to open them up.

This is my setup with my FXDCI -06.

SE Slip-on Torque muffler p/n 80061-00
SE air cleaner and breather p/n 29440-99C (kit p/n 29773-02B)
SERT calibration #23, 8 degrees injectors, HDI

Works well.
