So I pretty much finished my Fat Bob still need to get Wheels which are gonna be black rims with silver spokes, and I am a debating whether to keep the drag bars or go apes and when I say apes I mean like gangster apes or something like that. For performance I am just stuck I was thinking HD 103 kit and some cams, or waiting a little bit and going for the Headquarters 103 kit or 107 kit I know Zippers has a pretty complete 103 kit but its $3800 I mean I dont need the Thunder max cause I have the PC-5 so that might make the cost go down. Anybody have experience with HQ or Zippers kits I mean def those kits are gonna be better then doing the 103 HD kit cause I get heads with the others. What do you guys think 103 or 107 on my Fatty. Well thats performance wise...
Anybody have any other improvements for my fatty as far as cosmetic upgrades I was thinking fairing maybe just want to get others opinion on my bike since I see it everyday you know sometimes ur not sure if you should add to it or leave it alone.
Gangster apes would look AWESOME powdered black with your scoot. But keep the rims as is bro.. they look sooooooo sick blacked out like that. You've got a good looking ride man.
My 18" wheels will be here soon for my fatbob. I went with a company named "Rampage Wheels". The owner started Renegade wheels and moved on to start another company. I should have mine here on Wednesday and hopefully mounted by the end of the week. Cosmetic suggestions can be alot. What's the budget you have to work with? Paint come be $2k and up, chrome lowers, powdercoat etc.
As far as a 107" I just finished one and it runs like a raped ape. I'm a little concerned about breaking belts but if it happens then I'll just convert to chain drive. If you search you can see my build specs.
Nice job. Bike looks great! Bet that back rest comes in handy when you hammer the throttle!

Performance wise I would go with the 107" over the 103".
As for cosmetics, how about changing the stock HD brakes to PM. Better performance and looks. Win win situation.

Thanks. I have done a few things since those pics were taken. The big "cosmetic" additions that can be seen are the chrome fork lowers and oil cooler. I can't wait to get my wheels and then I'm calling it done for a while. Getting a little burned out on working on the bikes all the time and not riding them.
