the 13 spoke wheels won't fit on your mid glide front. Another option is to get the wheels from an 08/09 lowrider. They are great looking contrast wheels. Will cost about the same as the 6 spoke ones. Also look to zanotti's for the best prices. They'll be 20% off through them.

yea I know the 13spokes are the earlier wheels - Cant you replace bearings and fab customs spacers? Im going to be swapping my forks out to something else entirely different anyways.
Do these 6 spokes accept dual discs?
Greg,
I would be interested in seeing the pic's when installed, also what did you py for yours?
Mike
I'll have photos up for you as soon as its back from the shop (waiting on wheels to come in). I also got new "vivid black" rotors as well so all together; wheels, install kits, rotors, rotor hw, labor and tax was about $1400.
They will accept dual disc setups, you should go to HD's web site and search by model for the exact wheel for your bike if you have any questions.
As for weight, their may be some difference, but not enough to be of any concern. They may be slightly lighter than an all steel spoke wheel. I never weighed them since I am not sure why it would matter.
i went to the harley link at the start of this post, but I couldnt see anywhere that specifically said accepts dual disc - my streetbob does not - but Im likely going to change out the forks for something that does.
Weight is relevant to unsprung weight, inertia, and the effects it may/may not have on ride perfomance and rider fatigue. Maybe not a huge concern, but IMO worth asking.
Well, I orderd the wheels on Friday along with the vivid black rotors...the parts should arrive in about 5 days and I'll post pics when it's all on the bike.
BTW, I've had some interest in my stock rims, but I'm plannin' to keep 'em just to make sure I like the new wheels.
