How long and bad was the install? Looking to add this as well since I dont like the feel of the heated gloves.
I added my Heat Demons back when I was changing to the Carlinis. The wires to them are really light gauge and they include a good snake in the install kit. Having changed your bars, it's a piece of cake bb. and the suckers do work great!
I've got the same question as Jackyl. I ran my wires internally and its seems pretty tight in there. I dont know how easy it would be to run another wire through there. Where is the control located and where do they tap in for power?
This is a old thread so I have installed these since my post.
Jackly I have had them since last winter with my internally wired bars and haven't had any issues. The wires for the heat demons is thinner than for your controls so I don't think melting wires is any thing to worry about.
As far as running the wires I did mine while putting on my new bars so it wasn't to hard to run a few extra wires. Apes would be harder since one (think just one its been almost a year) wire runs from one side to the other other side to attach to the controller. This was easy with T-Bars but could be a pain with other bars.
I like them and they work pretty good. Mine don't seem to get as hot as what some others have posted but they do help.
do any of you have internal wire bars and does it effect them? i would like to get a set but worried they will melt all my wires in my bars. jackyl
I've had no problems with heat and my other wires.

If I can remember correctly I grabbed power off the light for the tank gauge,(it's been a while and I'm usually lucky to remember my name!) As far as that goes, it's not that much of a stretch to run the wire under the tank and along the frame to the battery if you'd rather. The Heat Demons come with plenty of length to the wires. The control is actually a replacement for the top half clamp for your clutch perch.
