I put them on my '08 FXDC. Yeah, they're pretty pricey but very nicely made. The install on mine was pretty easy, didn't have to change any cables but did have to do some rerouting. I can't say how they'd work with fork mounted gauges. The amount of rise and pullback is just about ideal for me but the steering feels a little odd what with the bars no longer mounted directly over the forks, and the rubber mounts. No big deal, just the normal side to side movements get exaggerated. I'm assuming you mean the up 1 and back 2 inch risers.
I have a 2009 FXD, and I think I've been looking at the same thing. Bought a LePera seat that moves me up, but I still need the bars closer. They are pricey, and I don't know they would affect the handlebar mounted speedo angle. If anyone knows of something cheaper, and/or has any experience with the speedo issue, it would be greatly appreciated.
