What a dork!
Now I feel like an idiot. I knew those bumpers were helping to create this issue too. I never even thought of a little lube. As it is only about a quarter inch off I know this will do the trick. Lube rocks and so does this forum! Thanks Foodog.
I have a mustang solo on mine. I believe it's the vintage #76107. I did not move me forward. I was replacing a sundowner which definitely sat you higher and forward. I had never owned a Mustang before and after many thousands of miles...I'd buy one again and again.
I also bought the matching passenger pillion and my girl was squeamish when she saw me unpackage it. She was used to the huge passenger seat on the sundowner. The mustang p-pillion is about 1.5" narrower on each side than the sundowner. Believe it or not after a few rides she comes out and says "this is more comfy than the other seat."
The proof is in the buttocks.
Buy the mustang. its good quality and will last you.
