Depends on what you're looking for. The Bare Bones has great style. I went with comfort and have a Mustang Vintage. They're easy enough to change out, you can have both if you want.
I like the bare bones, great style and good quality. Its a narrow seat and comfort depends on your body build, but I throw on an airhawk air pad for rides longer than a hour and its not an issue. If I want ultra comfort with wind in the hair, I take out the convertible :-)
The up front version has a bit more padding in the rear tailbone area, keeps you from sliding off the rear. You sit a lot lower in the bike without having to mess with the suspension.
Barebones is s great lookin seat and not uncomfortable at all for the first 50 to 100 miles, depending on the rider's ****. I had one and loved the look and riding position but just couldn't take more than an hour in the saddle at a time. So I changed to something with a similar look and style but more comfortable - the Mustang Tripper Solo.
