Does this make sense? Fits 2006 ONLY? Every exhaust I've seen fits 06-10' model year Dyna's.
Is there something I'm missing? If not, this is a KILLER deal!
I've been going back and forth on going to a 2-1 exhaust and say a used set in the classifieds that has me ready to jump....but a quick ebay search brought up these. I'm not good with part number cross reference. Can anyone shine some light on it?
it was probally manufactured in 2006 so... the directions would state only fits 2006 dynas... lister probally just quoted the directions in the box... i think it will fit up 06-10
That is what I was kind of thinking as well. I hate to buy those and they don't work! The part numbers are different from the ones listed as fitting 06-10 bikes...which has me holding off on wasting money.
I know! I keep seeing your bike and it makes me want one more and more!
I just wanted to make sure it is something that will work!
Don, one question. Since you had my slip on's before, how does the sound compare? I just LOVE the sound I have now and don't want to be disappointed. Thoughts? Maybe replace the Rinehart baffle with a BCT? Or?
The sound won't compare as 2-2s and 2-1s have totally different sounds. I think that with my Rinehart the sound is deeper and more controllable if that makes sense. If your just cruising it doesn't attract a lot of attention, but when you crack it open it barks like a big dog! You'll like it + you should be able to get all your money back that you paid for the SEIIs.
I know, that is one the part that might worry me a bit (not the same sound, but everyone raves the 2-1's so much...I'm intrigued!)
I think I know what you mean (quiet cruising works for me) and yeah, I hope to be able to get my cash back pretty much with the slip on's and let someone really enjoy them like I did!
