winter mods
hey all, new to the forum
here's the skinny: i picked up an 08 street bob in september from a guy who laid it down after just 1500 miles. i sold my rebuilt 90 heritage and threw a little money into the bobber. samson big guns street sweeper exhaust, new paint, new stock mini apes, forwards, grips, mirrors, etc. i've put about 1,000 miles on it since then and am already looking forward to my winter mods. here's the plan:
gloss black triple trees from 07 bobber
2 inch risers, 14 inch carlini streetfighter ape bars
powdercoat lowers black
powdercoat forwards black
spike style air cleaner
progressive suspension (black)
replace all turn signals with low profile LED's
front will be led strips wrapped around the forks from radiantz LED
rear will be strut cover caps from alloy art
5 3/4" headlight from harley, powdercoated black
'59-'60 tank medallions
any ideas/input/concerns? love to hear them. otherwise wanted to introduce myself and let you guys know about my scoot.
aloha,
joe

Seems like you've got a plan and it sounds good. The SB is a good looking bike and the mods you listed should work fine. Spend some time on the site and I think you'll be impressed by the creativity of many of the members.
Look forward to seeing a few pics of your bike and the mods you do.
