Real motorcycles aren't ashamed to show their shocks....
First of all this is one of the dumbest things i've seen yet. I own a softail and I have ridden my buddies dyna a lot. I dont think there is much of a difference in handling to consider one over the other. Pick the bike that overally just feels right. Both are beautiful bikes and have their styles.

Agree. I have thousands of softail and dyna miles and think that they both handle well. I will say that bigger and stronger people may enjoy a softails ride more. I really enjoyed my fatboy and thought it felt just as controllable as my bob.
Dyna cuz when the wife want to take a walk about the bags and shield go on. She is off, so does the bags and windshield go.All kidding aside I was on a soft tail but my dealer asked if two was an option i said yes and he said go Dyna done deal.
I like the way my Low Rider feels like a Sporty on steroids. My Dyna has the mix of character (read: fit, vibration, handling and look) that makes me smile. Softails engines are a bit too vibration-free and frames too wide for my taste. It's all about what makes you - and no one else - feel good.
i made the switch about 3 months ago or less from a softail to the dyna. my dyna out handles my old softie by leaps and bounds. i like the power and feel of the dyna. with the new shocks on the back my bike rides just as good as the softiai did on the freeway.

Well, went to test ride some bikes at the dealership. My last bike went away 20 odd years ago and this was my first time on a HD. Tried a NightTrain, which I loved the looks of and instantly hated it. Got on the '07 Low Rider and it felt great so that was that.
I've only put a couple thousand miles on in the month I've owned it but, I love it.
