And yes...the bare bones is the least amount of everything except looking cool
No it's not I had one for my 09 Fat Bob its a nice seat more padding than the Bare Bones.I'm only 5 ft 6 and with forward controls need to be pushed up more.
I sent it back & got the Bare Bones, that was what I needed perfect fit for my little butt.
I must be the only iron azz on here I can ride out a full tank of gas with no problems.
So don't say the seat is a bad seat unless you realy had one and gave it the proper break in time. I Love Mine...
I use the Le Pera Slihouette seat per my sig pic. It stays on the bike probably 90 % of the time. I'm good for 2-2 1/2 hrs at a time with the seat with no problems.
For longer rides I put the stock seat on the bike, but I prefer the seating position of the Le Pera...it moves me back and down an inch lower than the stock seat.
I don't know what you mean by cinder block, mine is as comfortable as can be...
I ride all day w/o an issue. As you can see in my sig pic a barebones is what I have.
Everybody is different. I have a barebones and some days I can ride for hours with no problems and others it's literally a torture device after 20 minutes. I have the "more comfortable" gel version too.
i have the silhouette model, it has a bit of a bump stop on the back of the seat that keeps you in the saddle when you are pounding on it, i love the seat personally... well up till about 150 miles i love it
I'm the same as everyone else, I have the barebones and can ride for about an hour before any soreness sets in. I was really surprised on how comfortable the seat was when I first got it.
