I have a 2003 fxd and came into a set of I think fxr? front end with a mag wheel and twin
disk or dual rotors will they fit.I want to powder coat them and install.

Does the front end have adjustable forks (flat head screw) adjusters on top? If so then this is a FXDX front end (great score) and it will bolt right up. You will need a larger master cylinder to accommodate the additional push needed for both calipers.
If it's older then FXDX- pre-99 it should fit as well. The difference would be in which calipers bolt up to the legs. Pre-99 I think are single puck and the lowers may not work with 99 and newer calipers.

Here's a link to Bikebandit.comoem parts diagrams. You'd compare the set-up of some older FX's to the 2003 model using these diagrams. I hope this will help you out on this issue.
