Cable length question?
I have an '07 Superglide and i just put some of Harleys Mini-Apes on it. I know i need to get new cables but i was wondering how to go about ordering them. If anyone has done this before can you help me out.
Street Bobs come with similar bars stock, can i order cables (brake, throttle, idle, clutch) that would come stock on a Bob or do i have to order stock lenght +6 or so inches?

Look on Harley's site under the accessories section and they will give you the length and part numbers for stock and plus length cables and lines. The stock Street Bob and Wide Glide cables will work on your bike with the mini-apes.

There is a set of mini-apes and cables in the classifieds now for $50.00 plus shipping. Maybe you could offer $50.00 shipped for just the cables, let him keep the bars.

I put street bob bars on my Superglide, and I luckily got all the cables with the bars. At the dealership the cables will run about $200 or more so the suggestion to get them from the classifieds...go for it.
