Default Baffle Drilling

Is there a negative effect if you drill out the baffles? I installed Screaming Eagle muffler on my SuperGlide, but would like to get a little more sound. I would appreciate any advice.

What do you mean by drilling out the baffles? Popping the rivets and removing them or putting a hole in the disc in the middle of the pipe? I've put a hole in the disc in my stock pipes for more sound and had no ill effect.

Remember your engine is an air pump. It can only exhaust what it takes in, so if you modify the exhuast without changing the intake, you should have no issues, unless you go to a straight pipe.

I was talking about drilling a hole in the disc

ummm.. if I can hijack for a sec.

What kind of ill effects could occur if I had straight pipes & didn't do anything to the intake or the bike's comp..
