Default need some confirmation dyna riders help me out

Ok correct me if iam wrong here.

The 2006 dyna wide glide front fork tubes are 49mm and the 2007 dyna superglide custom front fork tubes are 49mm correct same size fork tubes on 06 wide glide and 07 dyna superglide???

Correct me if iam wrong the 06 wide glide measurement from out side of fork tube to outside of fork tube is pretty close to 11 1/2 inchs and the same measurement on an 07 FXDC is 10 1/2.

So the 06 wide glide has the same fork tubes but is 1 inch wider correct.

wide glide tubes are 2.5 inches longer than a superglides but both are 49mm diameter... wide glide trees are a little wider...
I am running wide glide tubes on my FXD in stock FXD trees...

distance between the upper triple tree and lower is the same so only thing actually different would be that its wider by an inch roughly correct.

I got a line on a windshield quick dissconnect iam going to buy and from what iam seeing all i need to do is take out the little spacer where the clamp bolts to the shield and add a larger spacer and the windshield should clip right on my fork tubes.

That is what this is all about.

good deal that is what i was getting from the measurements the guy gave me and what i measured on my bike and i came to the conclusion no reason a wideglide wind shield cant be used on an fxdc if you change the mount spacers for the 4 clamps. Cool should have me a windshield in cpl days.

UMM, not mine, mine are 43mm according to the specs

"Front Fork 43 mm inverted forks; chrome fork tubes
and triple clamps", Am I missing something? or is it cause of the narrow front wheel?

I only know this because of my recently putting the Wide Glide front end on my Super Glide; the WG trees are 1.5" wider than the mid-glide. This was verified by my need to use 0.75" spacers an each side of my Super Glide fender to mount it in the Wide Glide front end. Both sets of tubes are the same diameter. The measurement between the upper and lower trees is the same in the WG and mid-glide front ends.

Inverted forks are stock on the CVO Dyna models , but i'm surprised they didn't produce them with the more BEEFIER look like the ( 49 MM ) has , it's such a high priced bike , i guess you can't have everything !

If you don't have a local source, I got my fender hardware from boltdepot.com. Received the items in a couple days.
