This narrow trees don't look very comfy to drive....one might say they look great but look at how this guy is leaning over....don't tell me that's comfy!
Standard narrow glide triple trees will have nothing to do with seating position....that is determined by handlebars, risers, seat etc.

Aha English is not my native language and you know why now....I meant the riding position is not comfortable but you are right that is not do to the trees. More to the handlebards that look to be very low
I have no idea. It's popped up on the board just a couple times, never did find out who it belongs to. A nice bike with some good custom work for sure.
I didn't notice originally that the tank was banged up pretty good on that one side. You could have the tank side banged out and have it narrowed, get rid of the console, and install a single center or offset gas cap and it would flow with the narrow front end. SICK!
i've been searching for info on this for a little now ..
how exactly would i narrow the tank, get rid of the console and all considering the fuel pump is integrated into the tank? i've been wanting to do this as a winter project but haven't found out much yet
From what I understand it's quite a bit more difficult to narrow the FI tanks. It can be done, I just don't know how. If you went carb you could get rid of the pump and the bird nest of wires that goes along with the FI system. Speaking of wires, I'm saving my pennies right now for one of these: http://www.thunder-heart.com/Electronic/asm5012.html
It's an entire, self-contained ignition system that runs off 5 wires. It gets rid of all the unnecessary electronics with the exception of the crank sensor. Chopper wiring here I come!

what's that thing run?
yeah i know it's going to be a bitch to narrow the tank ..
i'm kinda hoping someone soon makes one made for the FI with a center cap so you can just drop the pump into the new tank and roll ..
