I have a link to a company that does dealings in Japan, I am going to contact them about the exhaust for my own curiosity. I know they send american parts to Japan, but, am unsure if they do the opposite.

in essence... yes. Look at drag bike they only run a couple inches of pipe off the collector. The length of the fatcat exhaust is beneficial to street apps(low end torque and of course sound levels). Not drag ones. He used the headers then chopped the end pipe to maximize his performance for drag application. Further explained on RB site.

True, but you'd have one of the only, if not the only pipe like that in this country. Definitely worth the cost of entry IMO. Now I just need to start working on the wife.
