I have a 2008 Super Glide Custom and am having trouble deciding between the Rineharts and the Thurderheader slip-ons. Love the sound of both. Anyone want to weigh in with their thoughts and/or experiences?
Thunderheader slipons? for a Dyna? Thunderheader system over rinehart 8 days a week. IMHO the D&D fatcat would be better than both on your bike!
Zanotti's has great prices on the D&D.
There is a local bike here that is a 2008 FXDB with a 131 T-Man motor, with a D&D Fatcat that the entire silencer can has been chopped off to about 6" long, and there is absolutely no baffles in it whatsoever.
I must say I have never in 25 years of riding HD's heard anything like that bike. It sounds like a HD T/F drag bike.
I do like the D&D, but honestly I really love the way the T-header back tube wraps forward around the nose cone.

I agree, however on his particular bike, like ws6 formula, the D&D in chrome will really set it off with it's clean lines. I have the D&D myself done in black and I think the thunderheader would be more appropriate on my bike(although I would probably loose some low end torque). D&D has a better torque curve on stock motors than thunderheader, The torque comes on really early. Hare's a badd *** exhaust system:
I love the look and style of my Header , i love how it's just loud enough when stitting there idling and also sounds nice too ! , it has just enough sound while riding along with out giving myself an ear ache , i always ran 2" straight pipes on every bike i owned accept my Street Bob so i know after awhile the sound get's irritating
