2007s Have Arrived In DFW
Stopped by HD of North Texas in Carrollton to buy some bling and damned if they weren't un-crating their first batch of 07s.
Here's what I saw on the new STREET BOB:
1-95cu engine is now STOCK
2-Same solo seat w/new stitching added (similar to the anniversary model)
3-Brushed aluminum rear fender strut covers (vice chrome)
Will have another look tomorrow when they get them all out/assembled...
[EDIT] Almost forgot: It also still has the same lame-*** tank emblem that some of us have been removing.

If anyone is interested:
I also saw the new Softail Custom. It had LOTS of chrome on it, including a solid chrome rear wheel and laced profile on the front. Stock seat was 'king & queen' style w/lots of padding and a sissy bar. Very old skool looking. The one thing I thought I might see on it was NOT there: 49mm forks. Although they weren't installed yet, the stock bars were mini-apes.
[EDIT] Now that I think about it, the rear wheel wasn't SOLID, but had some small slots around the edges, I think. In any case, the thing was LOADED with chrome and a blacked-out engine.
