Took a test ride

You sound like you like the TT, seems everyone has high praise, cant wait !

I found, under hard acceleration and just cruising, there are some vibes that wasn't there before the TT install. My first test ride was at best 10min. This one was a good bit longer.
I also noticed when I got back to my storage area where I'm keeping my bike that the rear tire pressure was down to ~27psi where it was labeled 42psi on the tire. I did rectify that an go out for another short blast up the road. The vibes got better but not solved.
A completely unrelated situation....as I was coming back down the road riding on the left side of the lane there was a sport bike coming up behind me on the right side. I put my right turn signal on well before my turn came up and as I went to drift over the dumb a$$ sportbiker was right alongside me. Had I not looked, the two of us would have been in a world of hurt. I started yelling at him, as I wasn't wearing my new FF for the short test ride up the road and he just gives me a stupid little wave. I couldn't believe what a %#$^#$%@ he was. Further proof I'll never like anyone who rides a sportbike.
Anyway, back to my question: If you installed your TT did you go through the vehicle alignment procedure documented in the service manual before connecting the heim joints between both brackets front and rear?
I thought you run the vehicle alignment after the TT install. Well, I'll be readin up again before I upgrade.
The severe vibes seem to be minimized but not resolved. I'm still experiencing the nastiness under 50%+ throttle.
Not sure where to go from here. Being unemployed does not allow me to seek pro help. There is a TT dealer about an hour away, Ben's V-Twins in Matthews, NC.
The engine alignment must have worked. I cruised comfortably up to ~65mph. If I accelerated hard I'd start to get some aggressive vibes most noticeably in the forward controls.
I forgot to mention I did check clearance between the two front TT brackets. It's close. Very close. I was able to disassemble a pack of cigarettes and use one layer of the paper and slip it in there without too much resistance. I can estimate that's like 1/32" Not sure if they're touching during hard acceleration.
I've been trying to fab an alignment tool just to triple check my measurements on the rear wheel. My local indy hardware shop has crap and I didn't feel like throwing my helmet on to ride to Rockingham to the Lowe's.
I may just break down and buy an alignment tool. They're like $20 bucks or so online.
I also notice the front end still handles bumps and potholes pretty hard, with the Ricor Intiminators installed. I'll admit our roads in SC stink. They're not just bad, they're horrible in my area.
It was also windy as hell yesterday which made the ride more work than anything. I was getting blown all over the lane of travel, and not in a good way either.
It felt good to get out and ride for a bit.
